Hatoviejo (Las Palmas)
Hearty Antioquian classics in a cheerful, traditional setting
Relaxed$$ traditional bandeja-paisa family groups
Hatoviejo is a long-running Medellín chain of traditional restaurants serving more than 20 Colombian dishes, from bandeja paisa and frijoles to ajiaco and sancocho. Its Avenida Las Palmas location shares an address with La Fonda Hatoviejo, and there are branches downtown and in the Oviedo and Viva Envigado malls.
Why we love it
- Bandeja paisa or a bowl of frijoles
- Try ajiaco if you want something lighter
- Mall branches are handy on a rainy day
Enjoy it safely
